Carol Lee, PhD
Dr. Carol Lee (she/her/hers) is a clinical psychologist and mixed methods researcher. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Nevada State College.
Research
Dr. Lee’s research primarily focuses on identifying and examining the relationship between mechanisms of therapeutic exposures for anxiety-related disorders in adults. She is interested in examining how and why therapy works. Through this research, she hopes to find methods of refining therapies for improved treatment outcomes. Dr. Lee also has a secondary program of research focused on increasing the accessibility and dissemination of evidence-based strategies for managing stress and anxiety through mobile apps, online interventions, and single-session workshops.
